Cupcake

An original yet still classic-type shot, this picture really accentuates the simple beauty that can be found in the simplest things. The lighting and technique are perfect for the scene, and while I'm not sure what the photographer's vision was, this seems to me the perfect balance of sweet and simple. Just looking at this makes my mouth water!
The slight angle of the camera adds another touch of that classic feel that seems perfectly in tune with the sugary sweetness of the cupcake, and that feel is something that I and other photographers and art-appreciators like to see.
All-in-all, a good shot. Perfectly balanced in the way it looks and feels, I definitely would like to see what else the artist will come up with in the future.
